Master The Glossy Finish

The gloss finish of the model printed by Silk material can be controlled by printing temperature and speed. To get glossier finish, higher printing temperatures and/or lower speeds are recommended.

Recommended settings: nozzle temperature: 230 - 240 °C, outer wall speed: 30 - 60 mm/s

Printing Tips

• Drying conditions: 55℃ for 8 hrs. Store in a dry environment after use. Dry before use if the material absorbs moisture. For more details please refer to: Filament drying instructions on WIKI.

• PLA Silk Dual Color is a new color options of PLA Silk series, please use the default PLA Silk setting for printing. To obtain higher printing quality and higher gloss finish, please set lower printing speed.

• When printing with PLA Silk Dual Color filament, there is a small chance of filament rotation, potentially causing uneven color transitions. The A-series printers have a higher risk due to their special structure, so use of this filament with A-series printers is not recommended.
