3D Printing Services

COLEMAN 3D strives to provide the best 3D printing service to our customers. We deliver quality 3D-printed parts and prototypes in low-volume production. We only use high-quality materials and 3D printers to ensure your parts and prototypes are of the highest quality.

Our Facility

We currently offer the following two types of 3D printing technologies:

FDM (fused deposition modelling): We provide quality, fast 3D printers for optimal production. This is the most commonly used technology in 3D printing for large volumes and high-quality parts.

SLA-stereolithography produces high-quality, highly detailed parts, primarily for display purposes and prototyping. This technology is primarily used for figurines and other smaller volume parts.

From a single print to continuous on-demand part production, our facility can meet your 3D printing needs. From small parts to larger parts up to 330 mm cubed, we can even print multi-coloured parts.

Our new online quote and print request system will be available soon.  If you are looking for a quote to have something printed, please email us your STL file and details of your project to  sales@coleman3d.ca or contact us.

Why use 3D printing for manufacturing?

Traditional manufacturing techniques require high up-front expenses and long-term, high-volume production of components to amortize those initial expenses. But if there is a mistake in the product or the market changes so that the product must be modified, companies may lose the entire investment in moulds and tooling. This high risk also makes entry into high-volume production challenging for small or new businesses.

3D printing allows an idea to go from conception to manufacture quickly and much more affordably. Since 3D printing materializes products, there are no tooling costs. This means that a company wishing to produce a product need only design it and then pay for the raw materials that are used to produce it in any volume ranging from a few dozen to several thousand.

3D printing puts hardware products on equal footing with software products around production costs. Production printing allows products to be produced at very low cost in comparison to other manufacturing processes and constantly updated with no large up-front capital expenditures.

Our 3D Printing Policy: We won't print these items

With 3D printing, you can create any digital file into an object; there are a few categories of items we will not print. We will not print any parts related to the following:

  • Firearms and/or firearm-related parts or accessories.
  • Weapons of any type.
  • Products covered by pattens.
  • Parts or models protected by copyright (unless written permission from original owner or designer can be verified)
  • Parts to be of a sexual nature.

If you are uncertain if your part might fall under our 3D printing policy, please contact us and we can review your request.
